Fostering Creativity that Lasts a Lifetime
August 1, 2025
On behalf of the Harrison Parents’ Association and all of the Harrison staff and student body, thank you so much for your interest in giving to Harrison School for the Arts. Thanks to our donors, Harrison students learn in an environment outfitted with technologically-advanced stages, studios, and classrooms.
We hope that all of our past supporters and sponsors, as well as those new to the opportunity, will consider giving in support of Harrison’s programs. As you are well aware, providing a specialized arts curriculum often requires funding outside of what is available through the school district budgeting process and support from individuals and companies are an important component to our success.
These gifts have played a major role in covering expenses related to school productions and events, providing assistance to students with financial needs (for instruments, lessons, college audition travel, etc.), offering enrichment opportunities for students (guest artist visits) and staff as well as purchasing needed equipment for all departments.
We are continuing to make capital improvement/upgrades to our existing facilities. We’ve recently replaced the sound system and microphones with all digital technology in the main theatre. We are also continuing our annual support of the Summer Art Experience Scholarship program, providing $30,000 ($5,000 more than last year) for underserved students to attend art intensives. In addition, we will provide funds to allow for guest artists to work with our students to help provide the arts education our community has come to expect.
We would love for you to become a friend of Harrison and help us continue a 30+ year tradition of growing exceptional artists and creating a positive impact on our community. You can also help by connecting us with a business who would be interested in becoming a sponsor or giving for a specific need. Again, we appreciate your interest, and we look forward to what can be accomplished this year.
Sincerely,
Jessica Weeks
